This new eco friendly table runner 14x71 inches is hand woven by women weavers in Bengal, India. The weaving is done from natural fibers known as Madurkathi, a plant found in abundance in the expanses of India's Purba and Paschim Medinipur districts.

Nearly 90% of the workforce engaged in this ancient handicraft are women. After cutting the plant, the Madur sticks are soaked in dye before being hand woven woven and dried into beautiful table runners.
