This new Indian embroidered pouch was designed in Paris and hand embroidered by women of Kutch, in the northwestern state of Gujarat, India.

Some communities believe that mirror work is an auspicious tool to ward off the evil eye, repelling bad luck and evil spirits away from the wearer.
