The upper of the LITA slippers is crafted from 100% natural cotton, hand-printed using the block print technique, a precious art handed down from Rajasthan. Each pattern comes to life through hand-carved wooden blocks, pressed one by one onto the fabric by master Indian artisans who have passed this craft down from generation to generation. Its subtle irregularities are not flaws: they are the signature of the human hand, making every pair truly one of a kind. LITA draws on the elegance of antique Indian chintzes. Across an electric blue background scattered with tiny leaves, delicate scrolls curl around blossoms in lavender, turquoise and saffron yellow.
