Faced with the ecological challenges of a world in perpetual motion, we are committed to creating pieces that respect the environment. A few weeks ago, we launched our Bagru range made from natural dyes. This week, we are delighted to present our jute bags and cotton pouches designed in collaboration with the design firm Rive Noire.

Jute - an ecofriendly packaging option

Jute can be grown year round and is harvested every six months. To produce the same volume of wood fiber can take decades and requires much larger tracts of land to cultivate. Jute fibers are tougher and more resilient than paper made from wood pulp, and can withstand prolonged exposure to water and weather. Jute is 100% biodegradable, low-energy recyclable, and can be used as compost for the garden.

Jute is renowned for its exceptional durability. Jute products are water and weather resistant, and can truly stand the test of time. Moreover, jute is fully biodegradable and recyclable and made using low energy consumption.

When you choose to carry our jute bag, you make a conscious choice to use a strong, durable product that far surpasses paper bags in terms of reusability and recyclability.

Cotton Pouches

Our cotton pouches are not just a pretty gift wrapping option, but pretty accessories to carry or store your essentials in ! Our pouches are easily washable and with their attractive black & white design, make a great gift wrapping option that is reusable and unique.

French design

We worked in collaboration with Laure and Claire from Rive Noire for the launch of our new jute bags and cotton drawstring pouches . Laure and Claire are graduates of prestigious French design schools, and honed their artistic identities and creative projects before creating their own agency.

In order to create our first range of eco friendly packaging, we wanted to use details from our signature motifs. Our collaboration with Rive Noire helped define strong elements from our signature prints Louise and Banna and place them on the packaging range in a subtle and contemporary fashion.

Versatility and style

Our packaging range is available in a range of sizes, and is designed to be used in a variety of ways.

The jute bags can be used as shopping bags or beach bags. They're perfectly practical and elegant and easy to carry!

Our cotton pouches can be used to store make-up, jewelry, phones, wires and chargers, making them really stylish and functional accessories.
