Crafted from 100% natural cotton, the LONI placemat is hand-printed using the block print technique, a precious art handed down from Rajasthan, then quilted for added structure and texture. Each pattern comes to life through hand-carved wooden blocks, pressed one by one onto the fabric by master Indian artisans who have passed this craft down from generation to generation. What inspired this pattern?

LONI celebrates the art of contrast. On one side, large, generous flowers bloom across the entire placemat, carried by foliage that winds in graceful arabesques: in Fuchsia, lemon yellow and pale pink light up a vivid pink background; in Denim, deep blues meet a vibrant coral red. On the other, bold stripes echo the colours of the flowers for a more graphic touch. A matching binding traces its flower-shaped scalloped edges.
