What inspired this pattern?

The Archana pattern is the ultimate Jamini signature. Its sweeping floral arabesques are inspired by Indian botanical gardens, where flowers and foliage intertwine in perpetual motion. In Honey, saffron yellow and coral warm up a luminous ecru background; in Green, a botanical palette of greens, cream and peach gives it a softer elegance. On the reverse, matching stripes bring a graphic note, while a green binding traces its flower-shaped scalloped edges.
