Faced with the ecological challenges of a constantly changing world, we are committed to creating environmentally friendly pieces. A few weeks ago, we launched our Bagru range made from natural dyes. This week, we are delighted to present our jute bags and cotton pouches designed in collaboration with the design agency Rive Noire.

Jute – an eco-friendly packaging

Jute can be grown year-round and is harvested every six months. Producing the same volume of wood fiber can take decades and requires much larger cultivated areas. Jute fibers are stronger and more resistant than paper made from wood pulp and can withstand prolonged exposure to water and the elements.

Jute is renowned for its exceptional durability. Jute products are water- and weather-resistant and can truly stand the test of time. 100% biodegradable, recyclable with low energy consumption, jute can also be used as compost for the garden.

When you choose a jute bag, you are making a conscious choice to use a strong and durable product that far surpasses paper bags in terms of reuse and recycling.

Cotton pouches

Our cotton pouches are not just a pretty gift-wrapping option but also beautiful accessories for carrying or storing your essentials! Our pouches are easy to wash and, thanks to their chic black-and-white design, they are an excellent, reusable, and unique gift-wrapping choice.

French design

We collaborated with Laure and Claire from Rive Noire for the launch of our new jute bags and cotton pouches. Graduates of prestigious French design schools, Laure and Claire refined their artistic identities and creative projects before creating their own agency.

To create our first range of eco-friendly packaging, we wanted to use details from our signature patterns. Our collaboration with Rive Noire allowed us to define strong elements from our Louise and Banna prints and apply them to the packaging range in a subtle and contemporary way.
