Mix and match our favorite winter looks : hygge with a touch of boho chic

Cold and dark winter days mean that its time to get our homes ready for some snuggling. We wanted to show you some great ways to add a cozy touch along with some chic ideas to create that perfect comfort zone.

Try and mix some of that Scandi style hygge with a special dash of ethnic chic. Relax, slow down and cocoon at home with pieces that remind you of your favorite travels and memories of faraway places. Combining elements of hygge and boho chic styles will make your space unique and allow an eclectic expression of your favorite colors and objects.

To add that beautiful hygge touch go for rough materials and unfinished beauty like natural wooden furniture, vintage linens and hand made ceramic objets. A warm throw on the sofa and a few candles will add a dash of effortless chic and warmth to your space.

To add an elegant contrast to a Nordic look, add a few touches of ethnic chic - pillows with geometric motifs, woven rugs, hand made mirrors on walls. Try and use natural materials and pieces using handmade fabric that carry the touch of artisans and remind you of travels to distant places.

Don't be afraid to mix and match objects and styles , but take some time to ensure that the ensemble is harmonious and pleasing to the eye.
